Halloween!

It took us a while to decide what we were going to be, because everyone else in the family always has really good costumes, but I think we came up with one. As you can see we were both candy bars. We made them ourselves, so they were a little ghetto but they turned out. We had a good night, we had a bunch of friends come over and had dinner, snacks and play games. It ended up being a fun night. Here is a picture of us with heather and nick, they were the swine flue and a doctor, we had our camera all ready to go, but once everyone got there and the evening started we couldn't find it. At least we have this picture.

Nothing New

There is nothing new with us. But here are some pictures that we have taken recently. Longboarding down the canyon. The weather is starting to get cold up here. The other day I rode my scooter to school, bad idea. It was 37 degrees, and the seat had ice on it. Hope everyone is doing good.

Melinda blogs too!

Steve says I never blog. SURPRISE, Steve! I do.

Things with Steve and I are pretty much the same. Steven just got an additional job working at a place called Bucks4Books. It's an online company that buys and sells textbooks. And I just got my first job as a stylist at Great Clips. We've been keeping busy, and are anxious for nice weather. Can't believe this semester is almost over. It feels like it flew by. The biggest news in our life, is that Steve won a free t-shirt from a company called, "Omniture" for being the loudest person at a business fair. I never heard much about what he did that was business related there. I only heard about him winning the shirt. I'm so glad I wasn't there. I would have been embarrassed. If I had, I'm sure he would have looked something like this. Way to go Steve!

Myrtle Beach here we come....

So I was offered an internship with a company in myrtle beach, south carolina, this summer and we are taking it. We will be head out there in may and will be back a few weeks before school starts in august. We are really excited and are lucky to be given this opportunity. I will be doing things in the business end; marketing, finance, and things like that; while melinda will be doing writing and editing, working in a spa, and working at the front desk. We are not sure exactly how it will be but are excited to go. We will keep everyone posted and with pictures this summer and all that good stuff.

She made it in!!!!!

So yesterday Melinda got a letter of acceptance to the school of music here at BYU, with an emphasis on guitar.  She was been preparing for this for the past year and we are excited that she made it in.  I am way proud of her and love her and know that she will do great.

There is nothing new going on with us.  I am now working at a bakery and loving every minute of it.  I get to try all the different cookies and cinnamon rolls, and all the different types of bread, (from pumpkin chocolate chip, cinnamon burst, sourdough and cheese, to spinach and cheese).  And I love all of them.  We are also deciding on what to do with our summer.  I have been offered a summer internship, a couple different ones, helping different companies with their business, (finance, marketing, accounting).  We are not sure which one we are going to do, but are leaning towards one in Myrtle Beach.  We need to let them know by the end of the week , so we will keep everyone filled in.  Also my gorgeous wife tried out for the music major, in guitar, at BYU and will find out in about a month or so if she makes it in.  That is an update with what is going on with us.  I also wanted my wife to know that I love her.

The proposal

Sorry that it has taken a while, like months for these, but here are pictures of the proposal.  It was perfect!  We went up the provo canyon to this spot I found with james.  I had a few of my friends go earlier to get the flowers and candles how I wanted them.  James was there and he was the one to take these pictures, and we are glad to have them.  We went out to dinner to where we had our first date and I told her that we were going to meet up with some friends to have a bonfire.  When we showed up  I put the ring box in my sock, because it wouldn't fit in my pants.  When we got there I think she knew but it still ended up perfect.  After I proposed we just sat there and when we were getting ready to leave we heard a bark or howl and looked across the river and saw either a wolf or wild dog, there were no houses nearby.  it started to come to us but then it just left.  It was kind of scary.  The day ended up being perfect, and as you can see... she said yes!I love her so much and have never been happier.

One month

We have been married for one month and and both extremely happy and in love.  We want to tell you that we love you and thank you for all that you have done for us and for your support.  And were excited to start blogging.
