Vegas
So last weekend we took a trip to vegas with some of our frineds...mo and sarah. We left on friday afternoon and stayed till sunday. We had a blast, we walked the strip, say the bellagio water show, some fire show, and the treasure island pirate show. We stayed at the Luxor, the pyramid hotel. We also went to the shark exhibit, and it was way cool, we say kamodo dragons, piranas, sharks, and touched stingrays.

The Summer Update!
Hello everyone. It's been awhile.
This summer's been great! Steve's swim school was a hit and we still have moms asking if he'll be doing more lessons. The joke is that it's really the moms that want to see Steve. haha. Here are a few random things that have happened to us this summer:
SWIM LESSONS
-A four year old girl that Steve teaches swim lessons has a crush on him. One day she showed up to swim lessons with her nails painted, hair done and perfume sprayed on her. Her mom said that all she can talk about is Steve. One day as she was leaving swim lessons, she quickly ran back to Steve and gave him a hug and said, "I love you as much as I love my Daddy!"
CAMPING
We went camping with my family a few times in July. We went up to Daniel's Summit and rented ATVS and a RAZOR. It was so much fun. One day we tied Cracker up and when we came back to our campsite he was gone. He had run away. My mom all of a sudden looked around and saw some people coming down the trail on ATVs. She was like, "oh my gosh there's a dog chasing them! it's cracker!" So we ran to meet them and he was just happy as ever to be chasing them. That dog seriously just loves people (specifically kids). He just likes to play. He kind of reminds me of Steve.
Another funny moment that happened when we were camping...
We were sitting around the campfire telling funny stories and all of a sudden we hear like a deep bear growl/breath. It freaked us out and we all jumped up. I know bears have extremely sensitive noses and it didn't help that we had tons of food out. All of us girls were freaked out and Steve was cautious because in high school him and some friends had kept food in their tent and a bear slashed through it in the middle of the night. They then had to scare it away. SCARY. Anyways, my dad and brother (James) were laughing at us saying that we were wimps. I was even more hesitant to stay the night in a tent upon discovering my dad had a bag of candy bars in his tent. After much effort, we finally convinced them to let us stay at the lodge. So we quickly headed to the lodge and crossed our fingers that a bear would come so that we could say I told you so. Morning came and there were no signs of a bear. oh well. It made for a funny story. But I know what we heard! Since then, we've YouTubed bear growls and it definitely was one!
FLY FISHING
-While Steve was fishing in the Provo River with his waders on he had to pee. He almost did but decided not to. When he got out of the water and realized he had waders on and that he would have peed his pants, he was glad he hadn't.
CRACKER
-He's been neutered. He endured a shameful week with the retarded cone on his head.
-Still likes to eat trash. One day Steve discovered Cracker had pooped a rope.
SOCCER
-Steve and I put together a soccer league. We play games at an indoor facility every Saturday and play recreationally at a park every Wednesday with friends.
-Our first two games we've lost. The score has been like 3-11. I think the other teams lied and went a level below their skill so that they could win the league t-shirt. I am however, proud of Steve. He's always one of two players that scores points every game!
TV
-30 Rock on Hulu.
-Fringe. I know it's Scify, but it still kind of freaks me out if I watch it late at night.
Well, that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Hope everyone's enjoying their summer. Can't wait to hang out with the Grahams in a few weeks and then my mom when she comes up! Steve and I have the best families!

Happy Birthday!!!!!
There are millions of reason why I love my wife and why she is the best wife ever. She is gorgeous, loving, kind, gentle, sweet, caring, humble, always thinking of others, spiritual, grateful, sexy, trustworthy, helpful, intelligent, hard-working, supportive, beautiful, and just the love of my life to name a few things. I am the luckiest man alive to have her in my life, and marrying her was the best decision of my life. Everyday is great knowing that I get to spend it with her, and knowing that we get to be together forever. Happy Birthday Melinda....I love you!
I'M IN LOVE, I'M IN LOVE, AND I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fishing
So recently I took up fly fishing with James. It is actually a lot of fun. Here is a proof that I caught a fish, it is about 12 inches. I want to go a lot, and even when I don't catch anything, it is still a lot of fun, and I love it. James and I go whenever we can, or Melinda and I go, bbq dinner. So...I guess I am turning into a man.

Easter!
Steven and I had some friends over to color eggs and watch General Conference. It was a fun day and no one fell asleep during conference. All the talks were awesome! I was amazed at how the time seemed to fly by with each speaker. I was especially excited for this conference. It was one of those times where you just realize how much you need the spirit and crave it. And conference is always the one place where I feel it's poured out in abundance. I especially realized this conference, the way the Lord wants a family to act and operate and the way the world wants us to operate. Satan is so clever. I realize that rather than directly saying that families are bad or whatever else, he fills the world with distractions and sins that ultimately degrade our family relationships. It's so important that we constantly place ourselves in situations where we can be reminded of the things that are important to the Lord, and therefore important to us.
Anyways, I hope that everyone was edified and those that missed conference refer to www.lds.org for a recap.

Oh a new post!
I've uploaded photos to keep you up on what we've been doing! Here are the links!
We spent a weekend in CA with my family. The first day however, we spent in Huntington Beach with the Grahams. It was Junie's birthday. I love her!!! Then we went to Newport Beach with my family and spent a day at Disneyland. Oh yeah-the entire reason we went down was for a John Mayer concert I bought tickets for way back in November (I love him). Here's the link:

And here are few (yes we have a million) of our wedding photos! My parents gave me a dream wedding and receptions (two)! Kudos especially to my Mom for being patient with me and making it perfect! Yes-mothers do know best!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
Everyone else updated their blog, so it made me want to!
I can't tell you how many times I've heard from Steve that I should just kiss him because he's Irish. And on the one day it counts to be Irish, he's not even here! Steve's spring break starts today, but he left on Monday for Houston. He's selling for a company we're working for this summer. He'll be back on Friday. I miss him. He really is a good husband, and is a hard worker. I feel bad. As I type this blog, he's out knocking doors and the alert on my phone just went off notifying me of Law & Order SVU @ 8 pm tonight. :(
I can't wait for him to get back. I just love Steve's ability to not make things complicated and to just have fun. His happy disposition is contagious.
Anyways-I'm wishing everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm looking forward to April Fools, when we get calls from the Menlove children. Hope you all have a good day!!

UPDATE
Hi. I don't even know if anyone reads this.
Steve and I spent the weekend in Texas with my parents and little sister Emily (she's taller than me by the way. not to mention-a whole lot richer). Anyways, we had a great time! We hit up a few of our favorite restaurants and hung out with the family. My two favorite things! We were actually flown out to the ranch to pick up our new puppy from Emily. He's an australian shepherd and his name is "Cracker (like graham cracker)." He's a really mellow dog. Steve likes playing games like "tag" with the dog, and jump-around-while-the-dog-tries-to-play-bite-your-leg (my least favorite game).
Anyways, we had a great weekend and wish we could have stayed in Texas at the ranch longer. This is not a confession that I am a native Texan. I just like the ranch and my family.
School is good and we're so glad to have so many opportunities in life. I don't care what the haters say! I love BYU.
If anyone is looking to purchase a pure breed Australian Shepherd, also known as a fluffy, friendly puppy, then let me know! Some of the puppies are also breed to be show dogs. I can direct you to Green Valley Ranch Australian Shepherds, where you can buy one.
